That's the bell ringing to welcome March and with that, let the outdoor riding continue with greater frequency and as we shed our layers gradually, we build our base.

2010 looks to be an outstanding year with so many great events within earshot of Cheeseland, new and revisited. If you aren't excited about riding your two wheelers yet, then you should buy a set of darts and join your neighborhood bar league. Can you tell I have cabin fever? And I suppose my pristine newly built ride calling my name and begging to be abused isn't helping my impatience either.

Schedule for WORS US Pro XCT @ Nordic

June 25-27th, WORS has a can't miss event this year at Nordic with some of the best trails we get to enjoy each summer. The US Pro XCT will showcase not only the Midwest's finest, but some of the nations. Plan to make a weekend of it and see the Luna Chix and Gary Fisher pro team among others, as some of the best talent assembled on the trails in the Midwest in a decade do battle.

2010 Spins Off

Thanks for those that were able to stop by and banter for a while. Good to see everyone healthy and well (Kevin!) -- everyone is fired up for another year of outdoor adventures. The Nordic US Pro XCT, 24-9, Iceman, Dairyland road races, Cellcom Half Marathon -- lots of fun events planned. And good luck to Dave in a few weeks in his first running event since getting his Super Knee built!

Ore to Shore entry form posted

Early bird entry fee due by May 15th for the race on Aug 14th. Relative to many other races, $45 reg is great value for an event that offers different trails than any of the other point to point races. Lots of sand!

Note that the race website is not usually fully updated until Spring, but the reg form is for 2010.
